COMPRES provides user support and technological development at the high-pressure beamlines of the National Synchrotron Light Source [NSLS] of the Brookhaven National Laboratory and the Advanced Light Source [ALS] of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
COMPRES also coordinates with the high-pressure beamlines at the Advanced Photon Source [APS] of the Argonne National Laboratory [operated by GSECARS] and the Spallation Neutron Source [SNS] of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory [operated by SNAP-Spallation Neutrons at Pressure].
The COMPRES-supported beamline facilities at the NSLS and the ALS are operated under subcontracts to collaborating institutions and include:
· West-Coast Synchrotron Facilities at Advanced Light Source
Operated by University of California Berkeley [R. Jeanloz and S. Clark]
